Engineered to perform
Kronobuild® is a dedicated Kronospan brand focused on engineered wood solutions for modern construction. Manufacturing is monitored from raw-material selection through final finishing to support consistency, traceability and long-term performance.
International standards, continuous investment and plant-specific documentation help architects, engineers, distributors and builders specify with confidence.

Sustainable by design
OSB Next Generation
A new approach to manufacturing that gives full respect to sustainable development and environmental conservation principles.
OSB Next Generation has been designed to meet the demands of the market, but also to fulfil the needs of end-consumers and future generations. Kronospan Luxembourg has invested in new technology to create an innovative product that respects the environment and natural resources, produced in accordance with current OSB standards.
The factory's energy is generated internally with a new biomass unit and a process fully automated through Big Data. Production uses natural drying of the wood strands and a maximum of recycled wood — with a gluing process adapted to recycled materials. The multilayered OSB can also be composed of five layers, opening new applications in the future.

Pyrotite® — your protection
Every second counts
According to the European classification (EN 13501-1), OSB Firestop meets class B-s1, d0. The Pyrotite® finish coating consists of fireproof materials on the basis of magnesium oxide, reinforced with a fibreglass mesh — and releases crystal-bound water as vapour in a fire to slow burn-through. One board does the work of OSB plus plasterboard across walls, decking and ceilings.

From dry interiors to demanding structures
OSB 1–2 cover general-purpose and dry use, OSB 3 brings load-bearing performance to humid service, and OSB 4 meets higher structural demands — with Loft, M1, Fine, Faced and Firestop variants for handling, indoor air, finish, shuttering and fire.
